Can I have some Pasta with that?

"Hey Mrs. Smith, guess what color my eyes are?"

Mrs. Smith:  "Gee, Johnny,  I think I can SEE what color they are..but what color do YOU think they are?"

"They're bazel."  And with a HUGE smile, away he ran.

  1. I thought maybe you were gone for the weekend! You have had a long week....

I love to run or garden until I drop after a long week of BS.

I filled a cart with spring flats of flowers today... bargained for all of them to be $9.99 a flat instead of $15 due to an incorrect sign!!!

.... Oh it is the little things. I love to haggle.

Supersperm, fluffy, and I send you...

    xxxooo for the weekend!

  4. I love when kids say things like that. My daughter once thought I had told her that dinosaurs stinked when I was explaining why they didn't exits anymore (that's right dinosaurs don't exits anymore)

  7. I love bazel eyes! Is that a combination of blue and hazel -- but I guess that would be blazel, right? This reminds me of the day just this past year when my college-age daughter realized that what she thought was "for all intensive purposes" actually is "for all intents and purposes." But I sort of like her interpretation better.

  13. Oh, I'm so borrowing that! My Oldest's eyes are a blue hazel - no kidding - kind of aqua greeny blue with little brown flecks mixed in...bazel!

Tell Johnny he better copywrite that before Wikipedia gets a hold of it.

  25. Makes sense - basil is green!

My son and I both have hazel eyes. When I was little, my mom said they were magic eyes, because they change color, depending on what I wear. I just wanted blue eyes, like hers; or better yet, violet like Elizabeth Taylor.

I just asked my son what color his eyes are (hoping for something clever). He responded by saying, "They're hazel, just like yours. And my sister's are blue, but I don't know what color Dad's eyes are."

    "Brown, like chocolate," I responded.

"More like poop, if you ask me."

    Muuuhahahah.

  27. so cute. when we were younger, one of my brothers was describing my mother and he said her eyecolor was gravel instead of hazel. we still decribe her eyes as gravel (can you imagine if it was the rainbow kind that you put in the bottom of a fishtank?)
