The Question of the Day

"Mrs. Smythe, Can I tell you something? You know that caterpillar we had in our classroom last week? It turned into a racoon!"

That was SOME incredible caterpillar.

  2. Aren't they just precious?!

I wish our catterpillers would make it past the cacoon stage - they always seem to die in there. We've started just looking at them and letting them crawl on our hands for a bit and then letting them go. If they die at least I know it wasn't my fault.

  9. I was robbed! I've been watching caterpillars metamorphose for years now in my classroom and never once have I gotten anything as cool as a raccoon! All I ever got was butterflies. I must be doing something wrong! Dang!
