I'm good, but I'm not THAT good.

I love finding notes from the kids on my table. It THRILLS me that they are sounding out words, and that they care enough to leave me a note.

I believe that says something about loving school and something about centers being awesome.
That one should need no translation. And frankly, I miss them more.

What? Who doesn't love free play????????

I've decided that this says, "Even though I can't speak or write English, you are the best teacher in the whole wide world and I love you."

(If by the remote chance any of you can read Chinese and it says "You are a crazy teacher and I can't wait to leave this country!", I don't think I want to know. )

I love my blissful ignorance.

  2. Awesome..

And whatever the Chinese says that he/she can write like that so young is amazing. Has to be harder than English.

    Your job sounds so rewarding

  5. Free play? Really? What I saw said, "I love foreplay". Oops. Yep, you better stick with free play that is more appropriate.

  7. I feel like this about my 9th-graders. I get told "I love you" every day by teenagers--what could be more fun than that?

I admire you for doing it in Kindergarten--that is the most exhausting job in the world! And youi obviously rock.

  18. It says:
    I love my teacher.
    I love my teacher, really.
    I love my school.

School was in the oval to indicate that it was meant to be one character.

So you are teacher of the year 2010 for sure then!

  20. So great. It's the deciphering that gets me. Sometimes it's easy to figure out. Other times? Well, it looks kind of like that last example!
