I'm a proud Catholic and my priest has told my daughter that her dog will go to heaven and be waiting on her so I can say with a certain amount of certainty that the Catholic church believes all living things go to heaven. That being said, I don't know how the other side feels but this had me laughing my ass off.
This is why organized religion makes no sense to me. Faith is something very personal.
