I would be remiss if I didn't admit that there are many darling souls that have captured my heart this year.
Stanley is one of them.
Friday during our morning "telling sharing" session, it was Stanley's turn.
We waited. And we waited. Finally, he spoke up.
"I'm gonna HAF to decwime. I just can't SINK of anyfing..."

Stanley,we are cut from the same cloth. I feel that way everytime I sit down to write :)
Stanely ... you are certainly not alone... sometimes words just don't make it through... xo ... next time ... HHL
they must take a bit of your heart every day....so cute;)
Stanley is precious. Frank, well....he is definitely one that will give you gray hair.
You go, Stan the man!
I love this kid! I wish more of my students would decwime! It would make the process go so much more quickly!
How could you not love that kid. *grin*
Oh what a total cutie! I love him!
Oh god, I need a baby lol.
decwine? How great are your days??
Last night I could not decwime another glass of wime.
I fully agree with your scorekeeping. An automatic win HAS to go to any kid who uses the word decli--I mean, "decwime." :)
I love your students. ... so cute.
I will be the first to buy your book.
Haha! So cute, but I still like reading about them better than going back to teaching pre-school. I think I used up all my patience already.
Keep it up you amazing woman, and keep reporting!
Oh Stanley! I bet Frank never saw you coming! "decwime" - it's an instant classic.
Snap! Game on, Frank!
I am sooo going to use that line soon.
Oh! I love Stanely!
I would love to meet Stanley :-)

My kids went through a phase of responding "Duly Noted"
Stanley-speak I suppose.
xo
Reminds me of this Dana Gould joke:
""I got mugged by a toddler. I was walking down an alley when someone grabbed me by the knee and said, "Don't scweam.""
That is so sweet!
I can see, as I type, Frank plotting his revenge for Stanley taking the spotlight away from him. ; )
Decwime...love it!
When I can't sink of anyfing to blog about?
I'm gonna haf to post Stanley's most astute decwime statement.
It's the best writer's block explanation ever.
THAT belongs on a T shirt.
"I'm going to have to decwine"
Wonderful.
And appropriate for so many of life's occassions.
I'm tutoring 6th grade after school and having so much fun with those kids. After years teaching high school, they are just the cutest. Maybe not as cute as Stanley ; -)
Maybe I left teaching too soon. Maybe I just needed to move to kindergarten...
Nah. but it sure is fun to read about.
I love Stanley! At least he had the balls to tell it like it is!
That does it for me, it's decwiming from now on.
call me!
I could only love him more if he was going to "decwiNe".
That's awesome.
Oh I just love it!
Pure genious Stan the man!
That is TOO cute! I love it.
