Today in music, the children were playing various instruments with our phenomenal music teacher. Her name is Mrs. Incredible, and she does things with the children in our school that are nothing short of MIRACULOUS! (And she never yells at me when I Beepul her. You know - Bring Em Early, Pick Em Up Late.)
I went into the room at the tippy end of the music period and Frank immediately shouted to me. “Hey, look at me! I am playing the tangerine!”
“That is NOT a tangerine, silly!” replied Suzy with authority. “A tangerine is a flute!”
Silly Suzy, I thought. A flute? It looks nothing LIKE a flute.
It wasn’t until the end of the day I realized what Suzy had really said. A tangerine IS a fruit. I’m pretty sure my brain wasn’t working today.

And just how many more days are there til Christmas Vacation?? Teacher needs one!
LOL! Silly suzy...Sounds like a nickname in some old mother goose story...Silly Suzy loves saving sparkly slippers for sand play. Yeah idk what that was...
How funny!
I would have thought the same as you!
Hey, we all have our days. But that's funny.
Yes and a flute is a banana! Duh!!!!!
You have started your vacation, haven't you? ;)
Hehehehe!
No funny retorts. I'm too busy laughing out loud!!!
You're brain just turned off 5-year old mode!
Now I have '60s music playing in my head. And I can't even remember the song or band name.
You just learned an important lesson. NEVER question the class know-it-all.
Nice post !
Thanks for sharing :)
Um yah. That called OLD AGE ;) I notice myself mis-hearing more and more and I just laugh.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Brain farts - Everyone has 'em!
Very cute--
But I'm most amazing that you actually have a music teacher in your school. I didn't know those existed anymore.
Cheers, jj
All kidding aside, you might want to check out what a hearing aid will do for you. I got one 2 years ago, and what a difference it made - I have a 30% hearing loss. It sneaks up on you - unless you try one out, you may not realize that you've lost some hearing.
Maybe a tangerine-colored tambourine is a fluted fruit....
Just a thought.
Cheers,
Casey
so cute :)

do any of you remember any dances you did in music classes at school??? The age group ranges from 3 to 7 years olds, so any dances, music activities and anything that makes learning music fun???
