The shoes have it. (aka Thank you, Target.)

The warm weather brings out more than smiles, sidewalk chalk and water balloons.

And this? It was bound to happen sooner or later.

And don't forget, Gatorade and BlogHer have asked me to give away a HUNDRED dollar gift card to Dick's!!! Go here for a chance to win.

  3. They are lovely, but I fear the tail on the back of the monkey shoes will lead to tragedy.

  7. My daughter's first grade teacher doesn't allow the girls to wear the glittery flats that Target sells. She doesn't like any glittery clothes in the class! Kill Joy.

    Awesome teacher though!

  9. What is this crazy voodoo magic that shoes exert over us? I literally had to wipe my saliva off the keyboard when looking at this post.

  11. You've got some real shoe-divas in that class - my kind of girls!

  12. Yea! I'm a shoe diva, too! One of my 2nd graders came to school with these great sequined high tops this year. Of course, I had to ask where she got them--of course, it was Target. Sad to say that Target didn't have them for adults.

Go for the bling! Hope Frank didn't step on the monkey tails.

Do your students ever wonder why you take pics of their shoes?

  14. Scope and I think alike. That was my first thought when I saw the tail, oh that is going to hurt when she goes down.
