  1. I have a closet full of shoes that I bought specifically with my kinders in mind. I have Mickey Mouse shoes, Winnie the Pooh shoes, etc. that they always get the biggest kick out of.

I just wear my keen sandals every day, however, since the weather has gotten cooler I accesorise with socks! Your should see it - all the girls in our class love my socks!

  4. When I subbed for a high school, the kids always loved it when I wore my Pepe LePew tie. Little things really can mean a lot.

  7. I would die for those ankles! And, the shoes, too! They are lovely! You could wear them to every art station and never worry about spilling on them! Thanks for sharing! Prayers for Anna.

  10. I bet the little girls in your class loved those!!! I won't rest until I find some cute, adult sized Chuck Taylors covered in bling, with the rubber part of the shoe's toe lighting up as I walk. ;)

  14. Sometimes it takes sequins to get us through the day! (It never ceases to amaze me what my 8th graders notice about my clothes/person. I had one of my girls tell me the other day that she liked my "sparkly white toenail polish" and another one, in the same class said, "I do too, but not with those flip flops." )

  15. One of the things I sorely miss about teaching is the goofy clothing one gets to wear! I doubt that an attorney would ever wear a hair clip with crayons and balloons glued all over it.
