We aren't even ON the letter U.

The kids came into school on Friday morning and I sat at the table with Grace as she worked on the morning activity.

“How are you this morning, Grace?” I asked, wondering why she was a bit quieter than usual.

“I’m okay.  My mom’s in the hospital!” she said dramatically.

“Oh, my!” I said, wide-eyed.  “I hope she’s okay!”

“She’s having her universe removed.”

(I’m sorry.  I can’t add anything else cause I’m still cleaning the coffee out of the carpet.   Carry on.)

  10. OOOOOhhhhhh.....so THAT'S why I'm still in pain after all these weeks. They removed my UNIVERSE instead of that other lady part! Well...I guess it's back to bed for me. I'm worlds away from healing all the way.

  11. Bwaahahahahaha. I had my universe removed too, and ever since then I've been a twinkly star when the once-a-month DOESN'T orbit around. Plus, there's still plenty of space for otherworldly pursuits in there. Just sayin'.
