I have the song on CD in my car. So moving. I hope your weekend is blessed, my friend. Hugs!!!
It makes me smile to see you're having such a healing weekend. :)
This is a beautiful weekend. Thank you so much for honoring us as a guest in our home. My family and I love you and Braja!
This has always been one of my favorite songs. Sadly, not sure if you know, just when he was becoming popular, he walked into the Missippi River and killed himself, so sad. Rufus Wainwright also does a great cover of this song!Have a wonderful week-end. I'm off to face my "wonderful" public!Take care, Sue
So glad you are enjoying yourself! Have a great weekend!
His rendition on "Grace" is my favorite...and it often makes me cry.Shade and Sweetwater,K (who could use a little grace, 'cause she feels cold and broken right now)
big smiles...like to hear it VM...soak it up this weekend!
that song is pure magic.I trust you are having a wonderful, load lightening weekend :)Take a load off, Annie...Take a load for free :)
Thinking about you. Praying for you.

Such a moving song.-Aaron
I have to admit, I love Jeff's version the best. Great song! And I hope you're having a fantastic weekend!
Isn't it the best when friends turn out even better, in person! Enjoy your visits. This is one of my very favorite songs. I have Jeff's version on my ipod and Leaonard Cohen on CD.Thank you for sharing with us.
The first time I heard this song was the Jeff Buckley version. I do also love the k.d. lang version. It's one of those songs that's good for taking a breath.
Fun is good, and so necessary - Be kind to you, lovely VKMom, spend time on yourself and I am so glad you got to meet Braja finally - So pleased you have found one another in life, to feed off and learn from - Such joy xxx
Combine it with some hugs and you get magic:http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=hN8CKwdosjEMany hugs to you my friend.
I first heard Jeff Buckley's version on The West Wing. I'm not positive but I think it was the show when Mrs. Landingham was buried. Awesome song - best version too I think although K.D. Lange's is awfully good!
A magical song all right and it never fails to bring goosebumps to my arms and tears to my eyes. Glad you're having an enlightening time with Braja.
Ah well, since YouTube is blocked here at my job, I'm left a little in the dark. Can someone tell me the name of the song and verify artist? Thank you!Good on you VM, take some time to find the joy.
I LOVE Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah. Thanks for posting!
this song was written by Leonard Cohen ... his orginal version and most that cover it are all about sex and unrequited love. I kinda get a giggle when people think it's all about something else.Robin
WHOA! I love this song, but never heard katie Lang do it. I had chills all over from head to toe and a tear roll down my cheek! Absolutely beautiful! Thank you..I am heading over to itunes next...
I think I have seven copies of that song on my ipod. But k.d.lang is maybe the best.
I love, love, love this song. It's so powerful. Glad it is providing healing for you. It's amazing what music can do for your soul.
Absolutely beautiful songs, Debbie. I love them both.
