I squeezed some time into my hectic schedule to pick up Bitchy yesterday and take her to the gym. (i.e. She called hysterical because she hadn't worked out for TWO days and would I please please please take her to the gym.) We worked out for about 45 minutes, and hopped in the car for the trip home.
As I drove her to her apartment (the one she pays for but
never seems to LIVE in) we were engaged in a somewhat animated discussion about
things I can’t even begin to remember.
During a lull in the conversation I glanced at her and said, "Cheezus, I had such a busy day! And you
won’t believe this but I spent MOST of the day thinking it was Tuesday! Can
you believe that?”
She looked at me.
“Mom. That’s because
today IS Tuesday,” she said, shaking her head. “Jesus.”
Good God I think I am losing my mind.
And DAMN. I was
SURE it was really Wednesday.
(The week before spring break???
It’s the longest week ever.)

You are NOT losing your mind! Our kids cause temporary memory loss. I know this for a fact. Mine have been doing this to me for years and then say, "God, your memory is really bad"!

I did that last week! There is a Titanic exhibit at the Franklin that has been getting excellent reviews from my friends.
The Flower Show is at the convention center next week. English gardens are the theme. Isn't it Friday already?
This is hilarious, and yes the week before vacation time is always the longest.
Well, tomorrow has BETTER be Friday; because honestly? I don't think I can take much more of this week.
