Overheard at snack time:
Edward: "I have someone in this room who is my girlfriend."
Me: "Is it Katie?"
Edward: "Yes!"
Annie: "She broke up with you though."
Edward: "Yeah, but she didn’t mean it. Rachel broke up with me too... a while ago."
Annie: "I would be your girlfriend."
Edward: "Nah... You pout too much."

Edward is an insightful young man!
I thought Edward liked Bella, because she's all pouty and stuff. It was that way in the book and in the movie.
yeah, men hate women who cry or seem as if they could cry at any moment!! Smart boy!!
A wise young man.
Run, girls, run! He's never going to fall for the batting your eyes thing!!
That Edward is a player! Love that he already knows to stay away from the pouters.
Oh Annie..keep away from Edward, he's a player and possibly a stalker...
Peace - Rene
Edward's definately got this thing figured out! haha
But I bet Rachel meant it. (Rachels always mean what they say!)
Well, of course she didn't mean it, Edward! Denial is a wonderful thing. No stalking, now.
I love a straightforward, honest man.
Amazing... right there in that single exchange is the sum of my entire dating life!
I have a feeling Edward is going to be a heartbreaker. :D
Edward is wise beyond his years and is going to give the girls a run for their money
It is possible that they are all wise beyond their years.
So, pouting is bad...?
;-)
Oooo, that's cold...
Good eye, Edward. Stay away from the high maintenance ones.
Oh he is gooooooooood !
oh so perfect...edward better get use to it! love the image and love what kinders say...you have a great memory...as i can't remember anything by the end of the day...i swear i have fluffy cotton in my head when i get home and try to recall the funny things that were said throughout the day...ugh!
I hope that smart boy always remembers that lesson.
Sadly, Edward knows exactly what he's talking about. If only all men were that smart....
I'm with steenky bee...

It's tough to be a girl in love!
How did he learn that so early? Tell her not to give up. My husband says exactly the same thing and I suckered him in somehow.
Really?! That sucks!!
Yeah the pouting ruins everything
dammit, and I am so darn cute when I pout!!! LOL
I spent all of my son's freshman year waiting for him to figure that one out!
Pouting always worked for me. Tell Annie to hang in there :-)
I love a young man who knows he doesn't want a drama queen!
He's already hip to the girl game!
He's right. You can't have too much pouting.
You really have to love the humor in your job. It's not easy being a teacher but man the comedy you get daily is all I need.
That's enough to give Annie a major complex. Bet Edward becomes a very successful psychiatrist and Annie becomes his long-suffering wife.
Just sayin'
Da Goddess
Wise beyond his years.
"Nah, you've got two much baggage."
BWAHAHAHA. You know, I wish life were like elementary school. With less boogers, I mean.
Isn't it sad to know that men haven't changed all that much from Kindergarten? Oh, Edward...
Pouting too much will probably get that girl a role in the movies, given that pouting appears to work instead of acting in some cases! Great stuff, VKMom - I just wrote 'grate'... I think I need extra tuition this summer... You up for it?! x
