I am bundled up and weathering the storm.

I am struggling to stay afloat in this tumultuous Sea of Change. I reach out to draw my children under my wings, only to find that they have managed to become strong human beings.

Each morning I open my eyes, only wide enough to view the day. My heart aches a bit if I find myself looking to far around the corner, and I instinctively wrap my arms around the day. Just the day.

I am surprisingly lifted, incredibly lifted, by the warms thoughts and deeds flowing in my direction. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and can honestly say that I feel each and every good thought. As soon as I land from this painful journey, I will share some of these amazing stories.

I would ask, however, that if you do find the time to send a thought and prayer this way, that you wrap each of us in your wishes. All of us.

In the meantime, I spent a few minutes over here today, having coffee with my girl.

OK, I'm dense. Is this another menopause post?

Just try, very hard, every day, to find something to laugh at. That's all you need. Bonus points if you have someone to laugh with.

Prayers going up for you! Send one my way, too, if you can...we all have a storm to deal with. Thank you for sharing yours so publicly. A friend once told me (as we were comparing notes on our kids & various life problems) "If everyone threw their burdens into a pile, we would each very quickly grab our own back again." ...too true.
I hope that your storm passes soon, but I'll be praying for you until then!

It seems that I am one of the few people who has been too distracted by cute Frank stories to read between the lines of your other posts. I am not sure what you are struggling with in your life, but I fully believe that you have the strength to make it through. Not to mention the happy thoughts and support that are winging your way.

Isn't that the cold slap of good mothering??
Seriously.

You hve reached out to children that are STRONG and able to stand on their own.

Which is what we want, but selfishly,,deep down...we ask, 'where are my babies?"

Life passes in a blur.

Thinking of you . SO MUCH.

I, too, have not been reading between the lines, so I'm not exactly sure how you are suffering. Regardless, please know that I join in with all of these wonderful people in sending prayers and thoughts to help you get to the clearing. And, not to wear out the saying, "give it to God" but, this always helps me handle the zig-zags of the journey.

Somehow, amongst your five million websites, I missed this post. Here's what I have to say and trust me, I'm VERY SAGE. IT WILL BE OK. Sometimes you gotta Wade through the shit to get to the other side. The holiday are always tough on transitions. People want to be there for you; let them. That is all!!

I do love this picture! It reminds me there is a silver lining behind every dark cloud.

Your path is one that you are not alone on. Looks like there are a lot of angels here to help you out!

It is incredible to see that you love yourself enough to be kind and do what needs to be done to take care of you!

In the meantime, I will keep sending those prayers up, and sending hugs your way!

xoxo,
Sharon
