If only they DID sell them at Target.

Yesterday at morning meeting I could tell that Emily had something exciting to share. She sat in the circle smiling and watching intently as we started around the circle. (Surprisingly, she's not typically this patient.)

It was finally her turn.

"Yesterday I got a new boy toy!!! I love my boy toy! It's the best boy toy ever, and I played with it all night long!

I had no choice but to find out where she located this incredible toy. "Suzy, can you tell us where you got this boy toy?"

"McDonald's. It's a boy toy truck."

Nuts.

at least she didn't ask them for a super-sized boy toy. ;)

Stay away from "Big Lots" for your boy toys. I hear they get all the rejects, returns, and irregulars.

I wish I could have seen your face! You don't snort out your nose when you're trying not to laugh, do you?

I find all my boy toys on the internet...er, nevermind.

I was expecting something else. But that's just because my adult mind is already tainted. Not little Suzy ;-)

This is hilarious! I hate to admit that my mind was some place than other McDonald's!

For a minute there, I was right there with Emily! I thought to myself, "I want a boy toy too"! Sadly though, not from McDonalds ;0(

Take care, Sue

Just don't tell Emily where my son is.

Do they ever put them on sale?

Lynn MacDonald said...

would that it was that easy to get a boy toy...

Tell Suzy next time to demand the "boy" be given to her along with his "toy". The truck's good but it needs a cowboy to go with it. Oh, wait, that's what I want.
She's too young. A truck will do for now.

How cute is that? Thanks for sharing it.

Today in the block area one of the girls said to one of my boys "Well how else am I supposed to turn you on?"

Wait til she finds herself a real Boy Toy.

And I don't mean a truck...but you can do something that rhymes with it. *snort*

This is hilarious! Is there maybe a camera in the classrooms at your school. You know, one that we could press "rewind" and get a view of your face and reaction.

dang. i have a houseful of boy toys. and i'll totally give them away to anybody who asks. for free, because if i sold them i'd be a boy toy pimp and that's just hard to explain to the children.

I am with you and wish I could pick up a boy toy at target, though.

And then Emily grew up and became a construction contractor and told her boy toys what to do every day.

WTG Emily, WTG!

Cheers,
