Now God. You knock me out, and then send Travis to wake me up.

The kids walked into school today and were performing their daily “housekeeping” rituals of signing up for lunch, putting their snacks in their cubbies and winding up to kick the teacher’s @$$

I was standing near my paraprofessional, Mrs. KeepsMeOutOfTrouble, searching for a funny spin on the whole “my car is dead and needs a tow” story.   Right after the words came out of my mouth, Travis turned to me and said,

"Hey! My mom’s car is dead!   Now it’s at the drunkyard.”

I looked at Mrs. Keeps and whispered, “How ironic. That’s where I plan on going tonight.”

That's funny, and I don't blame you as far as the drunkyard. LOL!

I'm really sorry about your car.

I know the old phrase "This too shall pass," or "Everything happens for a reason," are things that no one wants to hear when money is short, and you suddenly find yourself in a huge bind.

I've been there, and I know it's scary. I always made it through those situations, with the support of good friends, and some amazing acts of God. Like you, I believe some of my friends came to me through acts of God. :)

I'll be thinking about you, and in a few weeks, I'll try to donate :) I just have to do it from my own money, or the wife will have a fit. I've already gotten into trouble for wiring someone I don't know money.

It's jus,t I totally get it, because I've been there.

I hope you have a wonderful, beautiful day, with your school kiddos!!

Oh how I'd love to meet you in the drunkyard. I forced my girls to watch The Help with me last night and Bridget became so distraught by that Bryce Dallas Howard bee-ach that she flung herself dramatically down upon the sofa, cracked her skull and went to the ER because I didn't want her to pull a Natasha Richardson on me. Just writing this makes me want a Jack Daniels smoothie. I've never had Jack Daniels, but I just know it's goooood.
