Five hundred THOUSAND reasons why life is grand...(Chew and swallow each moment of every day, my friends...cause they are precious...)

The following is a photo montage of the amazing week I've had.  I am too tired and thankful to add details at the moment.....But here goes:

In my Mailbox!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(THANK YOU for the Box Tops!!!  The kids were ecstatic....)

(We discovered this in our school butterfly garden....ready to pop!! This spur of the moment science lesson kicked @$$!))

I spotted this fantastic ride at the place below.....

(I may or may NOT have been whisked away for an incredible two days at the beach with someone who may or may not have danced with me in the woods.  Sigh.  More to come..)

And after returning from said whisking, this was waiting for me in the mail.. My incredible thanks to the generous angels in this world. I can't wait to pass it on..........

And while my heart misses my Junior every single night, my soul is being fed by all the good in this world.....and it reminds me that when you throw out good stuff....it inevitably comes back....tenfold....

Here's a whole bunch of other stuff that made me smile....

And finally..the best reason of all to come to school each and every morning...

"These are my fairy wings, Ms. Smythe. They are protecting my REAL ones....."   she said.

"Of course they are my darling.  Of course they are....".  I smiled the whole &*%$ day.

I hear you on the Republican thing...on the other hand, some of my favorite friends and relatives are Republicans. And they love ME, a Democrat, so...

Besides: This is just ONE Republican. Maybe he can help you understand the stuff that drives us so crazy.

I wish you would provide some hints (read courage) to me on trying the on-line dating thing.... really, I do.

My husband is a Republican, too, but he has so many other wonderful qualities that I can look past that one tiny fault. The "To funny" e-card made me laugh out loud. For a teacher, especially, that must be like nails on a blackboard.

I'm Republican - we aren't bad people...I promise! :) Some of my best and dearest friends are Democrats, so I don't let the political barriers bother me. People are people regardless - they all mean well in the end...and I truly believe we are all more alike than the media likes to make us think. :)

One of my golden rules in life is to not talk politics - so if you follow that rule then it shouldn't be a deal breaker. Besides, if NC Tar Heels and Duke Blue Devils can live in the same house (as evidenced by most of the bumper stickers around here) and not kill each other during football/basketball season, then I expect a Republican and a Democrat could pull it off.

The fairy wings made my day! And those e-cards? LOVE them! I'm hoping that will be what FINALLY teaches basic grammar to those that English teachers had to give up on.

What is up with the REB/DEM comments? Seriously no matter what you call them they are all POLITICIANS and they care about what you think only as far your vote can help them. YOU are way too smart to be constrained by a political party, this I know.

P.S. Forget the politics. What is going on with the BOOK?
