I’ve been so distracted by matters of the (broken) heart as of late,
that I’ve neglected to share the awesomeness that occurs each and every day here in first
grade. I'm about to right that wrong.
Today’s telling sharing:
Jack, raised his hand, “I went roller skating last night,
and it was wif real roller skates!”
“My Elf on the
Shelf was hiding in the bathroom!” shouted Sarah, “It was on the SHOWER!”
Tony raised his hand and shared for the hundredth time, “My
brudder sneaked into my room and scared me last night!”
“Well,” Conrad said enthusiastically when it was his turn, “I
went to Philadelphia last weekend and went to a museum that was TWO museums in
one! One side was the Ben-Lin
Franklin Museum and da udder one was called Pompeii! Pompeii was a city in Rome next to a volcano! One normal
day that volcano exploded and everyone died
under 12 inches of hot boiling lava and ash.” Shaking his head he said, “It was kind of a bad day”.
Yep, I would say it was…..
