The Pick Me Up...

I went to school yesterday, and found this card in my mailbox.

It was just what the doctor ordered.

(Blogroll and the cover girl winners will be finished tonight. Maybe.)

Ha ha ha, that is really funny. You do have special friends. Guess what! I have a new cocktail for you to try. Fresca and Lime Vodka. Yum. Goes down way too easy. Will toast to you tomorrow night (or maybe tonight if I break my only drink on Fri and Sat rule)

Too funny. Thanks for the early morning chuckle.

I used to write for American Greetings (card company) and one day I just ran out of steam and thought "I have NO new ideas for cards."

I only wish I had thought of this one. Oh crap.

HA! I think I wrote that card.

Reminds me of the expression: If you're gonna look back later and laugh about something bad that happened, you may as well laugh about it now.

(Phew! That was a lot bad grammar, huh?)

That is "perfect" for many of our "trying" days! Thanks for posting it!

That is hysterical! To this day my favorite card is one my husband got me. It shows a man and woman standing in front of a sign that says "Tunnel of Love" and a big dirt mound. A carnival guy is handing them shovels and saying "You gotta dig your own."

Sometimes, that's the way love is, a lot of work. But when the tunnel is dug it's nice to sit back and cruise through.

I love this and can relate to it in spades. Thanks for the laugh!

Spring break officially started for me today. I made it. Barely. Dinner menu? Wine. Dessert? Hot Fudge Sundae. -Yep, just what the doctor ordered.
