The backward tights complete the look.

I am a shoe person, and agree it is ALWAYS about the shoes...but the purple tights do complete the look;)

Oh, these are just adorable! I can't wait until Baby is big enough for shoes.

You know, if the heels are on top of the feet, it makes your knees look less knobby :)

Bless her heart. She is making a fashion statement. In the blink of an eye she will be looking oh so chic in Manolos. Who knows which way she'll wear the purple tights. Cheers!

What is it about backwards socks and tights? What are the odds that they'd put them on backwards 90% of the time? I might just invent socks that don't have a top or bottom...

Isn't it always about the shoes?! I'll remember the tights trick next time I need to take my outfit up a notch!

My daughter had the coolest shoes when she was little. Now? Meh.

I have never understood the fixation with shoes. I have running shoes, and when they wear out they become everyday shoes. And I have a good pair of boots.

That is it.

Could you ask your little student if those shoes come in a 10W? *snort*

And, PS, I've missed you. Back in blogland after being AWOL for a bit putting out life's fires.

PSS Those fugly floor tiles are the same ones that were in my classroom. :)

Picked up my three year old grandkid, Riley from pre-school today. She definately didn't have on "her" clothes. The teacher is the old hippie type. I just asked, "these aren't her clothes, right". The reply, "no, she got water all over hers, those are just clothes" whatever the hell that meant? The paisely hippie top and striped leggings Riley was wearing made quite the fashion statement and NO shoes, they too were wet. Kids, never boring!!
Take care, Sue

My daughter would be very jealous.

I like that little girls are not afraid to wear exactly what appeals to them, the rest of the world be damned. There's a lesson there.

I think I'm going to go glitter up my new orthotics now.

I think the backward tights ARE the look!

The girls in your class have great shoes. They will grow up addicted..

What is their reaction when you ask if you can take a picture of their shoes.

Oh, god, THATS why my shoes are always so uncomfortable... x

Kids are awesome. Especially when they wear backwards tights. So cute!

I'd do that, but I don't have any sparkly shoes ;)

My girls should meet your girl. They could compare shoes...and tights.

I hate it when you get one tight leg all twisted and you try to pull them up anyway and cut the circulation off in your thigh. Wait - that happens to everyone, right?

I needed that this morning. Thanks for the laugh.

That makes me cringe...I have such issues with socks and shoes working together...my daughter's socks always match her outfit and her shoes...and she does not wear tall socks with anything besides boots, and they are ALWAYS on the right way!

Hilarious! Reminds me when my daughter was all about the tights and dresses. I was replacing tights with holes in the knees every week it seemed. Such an accomplishment to get them on - who cares if they're backwards!? So chic.
