Don't you just love the imaginations of the kids? This is part of what keeps you going...and going and going.
In the box of photos that travels wherever we go, there are also some little drawings similar to these.Precious and so funny !
I love the man with a thousand fingers how handy would that be.
That's basically the dream I had last night.(FYI and unrealated: A non-blogging friend of mine, who is a teacher in S.C. has started reading you, and she love your blog. Since she won't comment, I'll comment for her.)
Love the imagination of children... Especially when they present you with something than ask you to guess what it is they have lovely drawn for you. Of course who, would of guessed a bunch of lines are a ladybug - xo HHL
scary man with his finger on fire...i love kids artwork!
I just love when you post the kids' artwork! Even more fun if you make us guess what it is!
It is conference week for me...I had the first graders draw a picture of me with a speech bubble that said, 'Please come see me at conferences." Most were hysterical. I had just needed to let 'Frank' have some quiet time in office...when he came back with his picture, I had fangs... lots of them. Cracked.Me.Up. I could definitely FEEL THE LOVE.
VM, clearly that last guy has suns for hands - a very cool concept!
Ahh, those are too sweet. I have my own up and coming artist. I just wish he would quit picasso'ing on my walls!
best story ever;)
Hehe! Those pictures are so cute. I'm going to write a post on my daughter's schizophrenic artistic ability tomorrow. She's in first grade and her pictures look like a 4 year old's. Until about a month ago. She drew two pictures that were really amazing. She did one at her cartoon drawing class (which I'm sure is why she all of a sudden developed some talent), and she did another one at home the other day. I don't understand how someone who looks like they have no talent can all of a sudden do really amazing art.
The bad news is that they all draw better than I do!
Well, it doesn't appear you have any budding Van Goghs in your class....a few Picassos maybe, but no Van Goghs! :)I'm curious though, at what age does artistic talent become more obvious? Do you know?
Love those many-fingered hands! Simply adorable!
Hey I remember when I drew like that (probably because it was just yesterday. no just kidding...ok not really, that was actually the truth.)
Ha ha! Awesome! Sheer awesome!
Very interesting, thank you for sharing!
