These are just one or two of my good friends.

2/5/11

The many faces of happiness.

I am feeling so many ways of wonderful right now.

Oh sure, I don't know what each day will bring, if I'll be able to pay my bills or if someone will buy this amazing house out from under me.

However, my heart is healing and I am feeling so proud of myself! My fingers are itching to write about this journey, and I believe in my heart that there IS some good in the world.

In the meantime, these particular songs and videos have LIFTED me. So, do yourself a favor this fine, cold, snowy night and enjoy them. Consider them hugs and kisses from Vodkamom. (If I could send you all a martini, I would.) To each and every one of you. xoxoxo

This next one is just the song- but please listen to the lyrics. She is phenomenal!!

and GWYNETH! Who knew??

and frankly, this commercial made me LAUGH OUT LOUD. Still laughing.

and thank you Chad and Chris for this. It made my day.

Now wipe that lipstick from your cheeks before people start talking.

Right now I'm off to the refrig to get a cold Corona and then to itunes to hear more of Ruthie Foster! I love finding new artists, thanks for sharing her!!

Take care, Sue

I hate to say it, but sometimes great entertainment is even better than hugs and kisses. ;) But I'm ecstatic to get both from you, babe. Xs and Os back to you times infinity.

Thanks for the "phenomenal" song. I love to learn of new artists and this is a song that most women need to listen to and believe.
I am happy to hear you are happy. I am a regular reader and spotty commenter. You are taking steps to create the life you deserve and you are an inspiration to me.

I just watched the Starburst commercial and laughed out loud AGAIN. Boring me back to death. Honestly, that is brilliant.

I'm a huge Glee fan, and loved reliving those moments...but Ruthie Foster. Wow. What a wonderful lyricist and with an amazing voice too. That song had me sniffing back a genuine tear or two.

Then, I got tickled beyond belief with the Darth Vader commercial. So clever!

May the force be with you throughout this journey. Wasn't the Glee marathon just what the doctored ordered yesterday?

xo

You make me smile every time I read your posts. These videos were just what the doctor ordered this morning. Darth Vader was priceless!

Kisses on top of kitty's furry head and hugs to you.

Sweet - thanks for the smiles this morning. Casa de Crazy is overrun with small people (family visiting) and I'm making sausage dip and chili for the superbowl (made blueberry pancakes this morning, got sternly told I'm supposed to be resting...but I WANTED blueberry pancakes for breakfast!)...a bit of music was just the thing.

Meanwhile, I have no idea why I felt the desire to share this one with you, but I try to honor my insitincts, even when they're puzzling...so, here's a link to a song that I listen to fairly often...even paid actual money to download it form iTunes (no kidding, I'm such a tightwad, it's rare that I'll DL something for $$). Warning, it's got a bad word that's repeated fairly ofetn, but it's beautiful in its profanity, beautiful and lyrical and there's a quality to his voice, and a sweetness to the backup singer's face that lend the song poignance.

Anyway, link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlnpedLeGbo

The music from Glee makes me wonder why I haven't taken the time to watch the show! WOW! I love the way they mixed up the songs to make this production!

I remember when you first shared this song from Ruthie. . .the night you went to her show. The song is perfect for all that you've accomplished . . . in spite of! You are phenomenal!

Gwyneth. . . well she rocked that one didn't she?

Now I know where you got the bored to death comment from the other day. funny.

I do love the VW commercial!

Now, about you. . . this happiness that is erupting from deep inside, is absolutely beautiful and amazing! Consider yourself hugged and kissed from both of us! Oh, and wipe off my lipstick from your cheeks. I don't want anyone thinking I'm gay! LOL

Love the Glee videos. And Gwyneth? Really? Where has she been hiding that voice? Loved it!

Little Darth. . .too cute!!!

Isn't it great when you just feel like you could explode from those happy on the inside feelings?

That "force" commercial is hysterical!
And seriously, who knew that Gwyneth could sing... is there anything that woman can't do? I almost hate her she is so perfect!

I am a regular reader but never comment.....recently though I went through a heartbreaking end to a relationship and a song that I've been listening to OVER and OVER is by Sugarland called "Little Miss"....Try to listen to it or just look up the lyrics, it's great and has helped me changed my attitude. Good luck!
