Mama said there'd be days like this....

I cried.

Today, at the end of a very challenging day, I placed my head in my hands and I cried like a baby.

Then after I pulled myself together, I went out and did what any NORMAL person after a horrible, no good, very bad day would do.

I went shopping.

Now, I'm taking two of the above, hopping in the tub and listening to this....

And, as I like to point out every single day at the end of the day, tomorrow really is a new day.

Sorry about your horrible day (but some days are like that). I love the dress. Maybe you should add a fashion section to your blog (for other teachers over 50 - there are so many cute babies showing us what they wear to school:)

Well, honey, you're either floatin' in the bath water (in which case YOU are feelin' ok, but I don't know how anyone else will feel about that), or you're up and reading this and some of "the above" is floatin' in you, which means all is well....xoxoox

I'm so sorry to hear about your horrible day, but there's little that some Ben and Jerry's Karamel Sutra can't make better. And you are going to LOVE "Doctor Sleep." I just finished it last night and...well, you're going to LOVE it, fellow Stephen King stalker.

He winters in Florida these days, you know.

Sorry that it was Monster Monday for you. You can turn today around and be proud of yourself. Reach into the tank again and go for it.

Add a little chocolate?

I'm hoping today was a better one. (I always say, the real story is in the tags. Glad the love life is going well!)

Sweetie, it sounds like you know the perfect remedy for bad days. A few tears, a little retail therapy, chocolate wrapped in ice cream, a new book by an excellent author and a nice hot bath.

Hope today was much better. And I'm envious of that book; I talked myself out of it on Sunday - and am now kicking myself. I will definitely have to go back and get it now!

Students are such jerks ... then the next day the come to school and tell us "I love it when you shower," and you're laughing so hard you're crying again. We have hard jobs, enjoy that hot bath.
