12/12/13

I just want to laugh, stay busy and DIVE back into the pool.

I know, I know...I've neglected my writing.

I neglected it when I thought I was IN LOVE, and I'm neglecting it while I mourn the love I thought I was in.

I KNOW that writing is a part of who I am; that it will energize me and remind me that I AM ENOUGH.  However, I can't for the LIFE of me think of anything to say.

Instead, I'll share the one thing that has made me smile today.  (I hope that it does the same for YOU.)

Now, does anyone have an incredibly wonderful brother, father, uncle,  neighbor or friend who would be my perfect match?  Let me know cause I'm ALL ears.  (And also, because I heard someone say recently, "Being alone isn't noble....it's just dumb."

Hmmm....

We've all heard "Anyone's better than no one", and we know it's not really true. But, sometimes I've wondered. Good luck out there, from a retired teacher who loves your blog.

A friend shared with me and I thought I'd share it with you. One day, the right one will find us.

“Satisfied”

Everyone longs to give themselves to someone, to have a deep soul relationship with another, to be loved totally and exclusively. But God, to a Christian says, “No, not until you are satisfied living loved by Me alone and have a personal unique relationship with Me along. I love you, My child and until you discover that only in Me is your satisfaction, you will not be capable of the perfect human relationship that I have planned for you. I want you to stop planning, stop wanting, and allow Me to give you the most thrilling plan existing – one that you cannot imagine. I want you to have the best. Please allow Me to bring it to you. Keep watching Me; expecting the greatest things. Keep experiencing that satisfaction; keep learning and listening to the things I tell you. You must wait. Don’t be anxious. Don’t worry. Don’t look at what others have gotten or what I have given them. Don’t look at the things you want. Keep looking to Me or you will miss what I want to show you. Then, when you are ready, I will surprise you with a love far more wonderful than any you would ever dream of.
Until you are ready and satisfied with Me and the life I prepared for you, you will not be able to experience the love that exemplifies your relationship with Me. Dear one, I want you to have this most perfect love. I want you to enjoy the everlasting union of beauty and love. I am God who loves you; believe and be satisfied.”

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” Matthew 22:37

The "perfect" match? Do you really think there is a perfect match? Being alone is neither noble or dumb, it just is. There's nothing wrong with being alone. I live a very full and satisfying life. Take a rest from finding the perfect match. You may be surprised by what you find or what finds you.

Peace!

I love this video. I'd like to live my life as enthusiastically as that girl sings and signs. Hang in there. Good times will come.
