Yes, the passage of time. They grow so very fast! That's why it's important we enjoy the time we have with our kids. Or at least the good times we have with our kids, not so much the times we want to kill them! Take care, Sue
I tell ya. There are some really fun boots in the stores this year. I would soooo wear those pink kitty face boots if they came in my size and I'm not even a cat person.
Love the boots..they made me smile too! Oh the cap and gown..wait to bawl when she actually leaves to go on to school..by then you will be over it..because it is time:)
Do the cute kitty Wellies belong to the grad? If so, they'll go well with the cap & gown, don'tcha think? Hang in there, chica. Times like these are just what martinis are for!
Oh, I know how you feel; I wanted to cry just seeing that too, and mine graduated one and 4 years ago. And it's still 2 more years till the last. Love those boots. Both ends of the parenting heart being wrenched, so to speak.
The site of that cap and gown made my stomach drop. Oh dear. These teens work us. They drive us crazy and the thought of them leaving is enough to send us over the edge.
Life is full of these bittersweet moments. I know that you are so proud though. I still have 16 more years to prepare for that moment since I've just started my family but I know I'm going to be a blubbering mess that will try my best not to embarrass my daughter.
I've got Kindergarten graduation coming up. Yowza! How did my baby get so big? Just thinking about twelve years from now is making me tear up - what am I going to do then?
Why does it seem like just yesterday my own daughter wore boots like that and now, come May, she too will be wearing that cap and gown. Oh, geez pass the tissues AND the vodka.

Love the boots and the cap and gown has to be a great parent moment. Maybe I will have that moment in a few years--if I don't have a stroke first...)

Tough day!
Maybe she should wear the cap and gown with the boots?
I have a different feeling when I think of cap and gown.
Girl, I have GOT to have a pair of those boots.
And I can see why you would tear up at the second pic.
Those boots would fit right in at Trailer High! And Sassy is graduating?! Life goes faster than you think!

I can't even see the keys to type now...
Your feet are far smaller than I imagined, and your dress far more colourful. But on the whole, I'm not surprised.
Love those boots. Caps and gowns always make me tear up.
Life's a beach.

I promise, you will get through the graduation thing! When my youngest graduates, I am going to strip naked and dance through the house :)
