You're as young as you feel...and I feel old.

My Mom says my Uncle needs to get married right away before it's too late...he was born in the 80's, so he's really old...

If you are old, then I am too. :)

He must also be extremely cool I imagine, as all children of the '80s are.

We could become Vampires, stay young and youthful forever. Not have to diet, grocery shop, cook, clean the kitchen.
You're still young, VodkaMom!

Relax, maybe take in a movie...

Dear Little Kindergarten Person,

I was born in 1962.

You'll be able to find my remains at your local Natural History museum between the skeleton of the T-Rex and King Tut's sarcophagus. Take your friends; it will make an interesting field trip.

Sincerely,

Jan from the Sushi Bar

At a recent local High School talent show, one of the performers said "And now, let's go allll the way back to 1996..." without the least hint of irony or humor.

Good grief.

Drat. I graduated from college in the 80's, so your Mom must think I'm old as dirt.

If the '80's make you old, then 3 of my 4 kids are old, the one born in the '70's is older than dirt and i'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy over the hill, heading for the valley of death!

I feel a chill as I slide down the mountain. .

Sorry ladies... but at least you get to keep your hair, or most of it, anyway.

the saying is "you're as old as the man you feel" or is it "you're as young as the man you WANT to feel" ...

Mr. Halpern said...

Jeesh. I was born in the 70's and I'm not married. Please don't tell your mom (or mine).

Don't worry. I've heard that old is the new young. Or something like that...

I don't want to burst your bubble, really I don't, "but" I have to give you a heads up! There are moments that my kids (26,27,30)and I STILL have screaming matches and those oh, so special words fly out of my mouth all over again! But if we weren't close to our kids and love them the way we do, they couldn't piss us off enough to bother to get into those screaming matches. By the way, we have "texting" screaming matches too! Take care.

When asked by a kindergartener what year I was born...I replied 1957.

His reply, "YOU WERE BORN IN THE 1900'S???"

I aged years with that one comment alone.
